INFORMATION
Venue
The local colour of Krakow is created by the co-existing
the past - captured in Krakow's monuments, traditions, legends;
and the present. This is where one can find Wawel - the
Royal Residence and the coronation place, St. Mary's Church
with the Wit Stwosz's altar, the main square - the biggest
in Europe, as well as the oldest polish university - the
Jagiellonian University with the famous Collegium Maius.
Both Krakow and the whole region are made more attractive
by the surrounding places of interest such as Wieliczka
with the world famous salt mine.
Official language
The official working languages will be English and Polish.
There will be simultaneous translation available all sessions.
Bank and currency exchange
The currency is the Polish zloty (1 EUR = 4,2 PLN). Delegates
may change foreign currency and travellers' cheques at the
airport upon arriving in Krakow, or at several banks located
in the town. International credit cards are accepted for
payments in hotels, restaurants and shops.
Insurance
The organizers of the congress recommend that participants
arrange their own insurance for health, travel and property.
The organizers will not accept any liability for personal
injury or loss of, or damage to, property.
Delegate identification
Admission to scientific sessions and other events is permitted
only to those wearing the official congress badge.
Arrival and departure
Hotel "Witek" is located 6 km from the International
Airport Balice and 8 km from the Krakow's Railway Station.
